Smith M38 with Tyler Ts on coffee/food/beer table at Stately Freeman Manor.
I know the 40/640 is far more popular, but I never liked roll checking on the trigger only, but I am a Safety Ninny and a horrible, horrible person for being so.
Those are EARLY magna grips...I got one roughly the same age, K 22 Outdoorsman that has the earlier style grips....Word is Elmer Keith is who suggested the Magna style grips with the horn...This is not my K 22 Outdoorsman but the grips are like mine....
Neat storytelling video here with the K 22 Outdoorsman.....True k 22 gun porn here.....Even got a period vehicle to showcase the revolver...
For balance, these are non-Smiths of an American gun company which escapes my mind as it is not Smith & Wesson (guys, these are the jokes, put down the torches)
Me: "Boy, I've really been disciplined this year. Only 1 new gun. I've been getting my stuff together and tight--shotguns all re-fitted, 1911s and Glocks all re-fitted and PM'd, ARs all PM'd and ready. Load of revolvers up to Sand Burr for re-fitting an PM. Ensuring ALL my working pieces are up and running and have PM. Filling Rubbermaid bins with magazines,, having loaded mags ready, ammo to my eyeballs in storage. Made plans to sell off the schlock and safe queens. Man, I'm on top of it this year fianlly, not running around like a chicken like a 19 year old."
Me 15 minutes later: "zomg, that's a screaming deal on that unfired Smith M325 Thunder Ranch Revolver. Shut up and take my money!"
