Picked 'er up today from Shootin Iron shop down in Martinsville! Took it across the street and put around a hundred rounds through it. What a sweet shooter, this is my first revolver that isn't a cannon. (I.E. Non-454 casull)
Brand new S&W 686 SSR
Forgot I hadn't posted my ruger 454 yet.
I wonder what the target grey finish actually is? It's one of the smoothest and most durable finishes I've had experience with.
After using my fingers and a few pieces of cratex, I got the trigger on it to be the best of any revolver trigger I've handled. So unbelieveably smooth and consistent.
