Thought it would be interesting to see what everyone's open carry setup was. Heres mine: http://i.imgur.com/W3UeI.jpg M&P 9, Blackhawk pancake holster, and a Gould and Goodrich leather belt.

You're giving us a bad rap carrying like that!

haha, it is true. I'm still trying to find that "perfect" setup.

Current EDC is a Colt Commander 1911 wearing Hogue grips riding in a Tagua Gunleather thumb break holster. I find it is very comfortable. If I feel like CC, I will either wear the wife's XDsc or (after I verify its reliability) my recently purchased CZ P07 Duty. I don't currently have an IWB holster, but plan to shop around very soon for one...

What kind of wood is that grip?

It comes from the rare fanciass tree, native only to the jungles of expensetonia.

    But that's just a guess...

My new OC setup WILL be a custom pancake 3-slot holster for my RIA Tactical 2011, plus some sort of mag carrier on the other side. Haven't figured out which carrier yet.

Mtac kydex reinforced belt with either a Kimber Compact Stainless II, CZ-75 Compact, or a Colt Delta Elite each their own custom Kramer Scabbard holster. That setup can be carried all day comfortably. Spare mags are either carried in a double mag holster if it's a 1911 day or single if I'm carrying the CZ.

With the IWB loops removed, this TT Gunleather works great OWB/open carry.

I usually only wear it that way in the winter or if I'm wearing a suit jacket, though.

Kimber Eclipse Custom II 10mm, sharkskin gunbelt from The Beltman, and a stringray holster from Andrews Custom Leather.

Looks like giraffe bone to me. I also have a penchant for exotic skin holsters and stag/ivory grips...... It's an expensive hobby........

    That is a nice setup!
