True, but it was my own fault. I kept pestering dad to let me shoot it and I finally wore him down. On the bright side, I don't think I've shot anything since that had as much kick to it!
S&W 422 when I was about 5 years old. I can remember hitting a steel squirrel from maybe 10 yards 4 times out of the 10 round mag and being very pleased with myself.
I can't honestly exactly what it was but I remember small details. It was a shotgun, a Browning auto I believe, when I was 9-10? The first weapon I shot all on my own was a Marlin model 60.
A 12ga when I was 24. My husband just kept telling me not to let go of it. Nearly knocked me on my butt but then everything else seemed like no big deal to shoot. It was a good introduction.
It hurt, but I giggled when the birdshot hit a glass bottle that my Grandfather set on the birm at his farm. I ended up firing a whole box of shells and had a bruised shoulder for a week, but I also wore a **** eaten grin too!
Was a shot gun... but after i shot it so did my lil sister and it put her on her butt hard...lol Was funny stuff! Was my dads I think. He was the one with me showing my how to hold it.
My 1st hand gun I shot was a walther german luger 9mm.... I hit the dead tree and was happy...lol belonged to my aunts husband.
