My fathers Mossberg model 46 b(a) bolt action 22. I was 6 years old. That rifle is responsible for love of rifles especially bolt actions. I have the rifle in my safe, and my dad is still alive at 81 though not in good health. He got that rifle when he graduated from high school in 1946.The first shotgun I shot was a Savage 22/410 over and under. Killed my first squirrel with that one.
My first was an Ayers 20 gauge bolt action shotgun. It was my father's gun that my grandfather bought for him. I now own it and am in the process of restoring it so that I can pass it on to my son one day.
Daisy golden was my main rifle for years.
At age of 11 I bought a Marlin 60 from one of my uncles. Mom was against it, Dad said it's his money. (Dad never owned a gun his entire life).
Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle! Thanks Ralphie! Pop's old .22 rifle. Not sure model but I remember thinking it had some "kick." Around 10 yrs old.
