Add another one for the G.P.S. handgunner backpack, we also have a MidWayUSA range backpack that we really like and (2) older version of the MidWayUSA competition bag.
We've had the competition bags the longest and they are still in good shape.

I do not use a range "bag". I use a semi-large storage tote that has wheels on it. I keep all my range equipment in the tote all the time, except for my firearms which I put in cases when I go to the range. I have found that keeping everything in one location(range tote) I always have what I need without running through the house and gun room searching for my range equipment when I go to the range.

Like you Winamac I don't want to run around finding stuff. Time is too valuable to me. I just grab my always ready range bag, throw in the guns I'm going to shoot that day and I'm off. My car stays loaded with the rest of the stuff: targets, range "box", D-Wipes, towel.

If I truly go to a 1 gun year, it will be even easier. Just grab the range bag and go. The gun will already be on my belt. :)

Yeah, that's what I have. I can't remember but I think I have the smaller one. Maybe 18" long?
It is this one, and yes it's in that size range.

Midway. Shop around an pay attention. There's a lot of the same bags for sale for greatly differing prices depending on who's patch is sewn on. The Midway bag I have was $50 and is identical to the 5.11 bag.

I thought this was pretty clever.. Picked up a used non-Samsonite version for $7.99+tax from Salvation Army today. Thanks for the idea.

    Oh I love range bags...

Have several, all have their own purpose. Sometimes only need one for a trip, sometimes I take 2 or 3.
