I've even thought about carrying it at 10:00 (being right handed!) a few times... but then realized that could slow the draw a little bit. I guess i'm not into speedshooting so it couldn't be that much worse. Practice makes perfect i guess.
I'm a big fan of cross draw. Make sure you have the right holster. Don't try to carry a strong side holster cross draw. There are lots of benefits to the method. Draw speed is comparable to strong side depending on where you have your hands. It is very concealable. Retention is very good regardless of what some may say. Give it a try.
It all depends on the situation. Generally 3-4 o'clock for waist band carry, Both OC and CC. Quite often I use a thigh rig. Occasionally I have used a Tankers rig. Rarely I have even been seen wearing a Shoulder Rig.
Anywhere between 8 and 10 depending on my dress. Shorts go a little farther forward towards 10, Jeans goes back towards 8 so I can get in my front pockets.
