Able-bodied people parking in handicapped spots just because they have a sticker on their car **** me off to no end.
If I was a more vengeful person, I'd key every single one of their cars.
I know this feeling all too well. I see able-bodied people park in the handicap spot all the time at my job and I so badly want to say something to them. I think one time one of them ticked me off and I noticed she was in the space, so I kindly told her when she came up to pay for her stuff that her being a blond doesn't count as a handicap.
Just be careful. Some of us are relatively young looking, don't use walkers or canes, and are capable of shooting back! Its more fun to pop a broken off tire gauge or tire deflators on two of their tires. It will cause more hassle than calling insurance and causing rates to go up for everyone else, and no real damage is done

I don't use my placard on my "good days" but do on my "bad days". Wifey doesn't use it unless I am in the vehicle with her and having a "bad day" physically. She always pushes me to walk the extra distance from a regular spot if I'm "so-so" that day.
LOL I know what you guys are referring to - I just said it before some else did!I'm talking about the heads that get out of their car, do a pirouette and proceed to skip into the store(yes, that may be a slight exaggeration).
If you don't mind me asking, what is your ailment?(sorry, I'm just a curious guy)
Never give up hope!LOL I know what you guys are referring to - I just said it before some else did!
Gastrointestinal issues, and the muscles in my back and shoulders won't loosen up to a normal muscle tone (clench your shoulder muscles as hard as you can and feel how stiff they are - mine stay that way all the time).
I have lost ~ 70% use of my hands as the nerves in my arms and hands are dying, taking muscles with them.
Weight loss (over 100 lbs in the last year) due to unknown causes. I am literally wasting away. No tumors, no cancer, no diabetes, etc., etc. I have no stamina when it comes to walking and have days where I have zero balance (the days I stay in bed).
My civilian docs say I have Gulf War Illness. The VA says I don't. I don't care which it is, I just want to live a normal life.
My wifey does the majority of my driving for me when I am unable. The longest I went without being able to drive myself was three months last fall/winter. I hated to rely on my wifey so much, but I didn't feel that I could safely control my vehicle or watch for traffic beside me/behind me, so I didn't drive. When my doc found out about me not driving he said, "Time for the disability placard." So I got it and use it only when it is absolutely necessary.
To look at me, you couldn't tell much is wrong with me except for a slightly stooped posture. Watch me try to fill out a check and struggle to use my hands - you'd know it. Watch me walk four blocks, you'd know it.
Cheers.
Yeah.
Some of those female Troopers are real cute. Especially in plain clothes
And those confiscated vehicles do come in handy.
