    It appears no.

According to Wiki, the .450 Bushmaster has a 1.7" caselength, Indiana states max of 1.625"

Same reason the .460 S&W I was looking at isn't legal, case length too long.

Just heard a rumor that Indiana legislators approved use of .450 Bushmaster for deer. Does anybody have a clue if true?:dunno:

Here in Indiana our legislators do not approve the specifics of hunting rounds for deer season, that falls under the guidelines of the D.N.R. and while they have considered making changes, it does not appear that they have yet legalized the 450 Bushy.

The 458 SOCOM is, however, a legal round for deer hunting in Indiana.

To my knoweldge, the only factory loaded rifle cartridge that currently is Indiana Deer Legal is the 458 SOCOM.
