Mesh Tarps - Harbor Freight Tools
I finished up the storm cellar last weekend and I figured I'd put everything through a good run through.
GEEZ! I used 3 times the fuel in the generators I'd figured on using to keep everything running. So much for estimated gas usage from the tags on the generators.
I have to store more gasoline than I figured now and have to re-evaluate my storage tanks for gas for vehicles and generators now.
I'm preparing and setting up for comfort also in case all power goes down for any length of time. I want to run at 100% as needed for any situation. I'll just have to refigure my requirements and needs. It's what this practice run was for. Back to the drawing board for now.Dry runs are useful. Real world stats. Fuel consumption on most genny's is not rated at or near full loads. Be reasonable with the power. Comfort should be last on the list.
Cool!...and my 9 yr old bought his first riffle!
The wife decided to add to the good preps ordering a years worth of food for 4 people (making it about 2 years worth prepped) purchased two 55 gal water barrels and my 9 yr old bought his first riffle!
