A Kahr 40 with a Ruger 380 back-up. If the 40 doesn't stop them, the 380 will tickly them to death - really. Do you want to be shot in the eye with a 380? I thought not.
XD-9 4" Service with the grip reduced to the sub compact size. I can use the 10 & 13 rd. mags with pearce pinky extension, or the 16 rd. with the grip extension sleeve. Still gives me a 4" barrel and longer sight radius than the sub compact.

I agree. As a former owner of a security company and instructor for same. I have carried everything from (mm to 44 Magnum depending on the job. If I was in a field situation with nobody around me to help I would carry the 44 Magnum figuring I might be able to stop a car with it. I had a CZ 85 which was a good carry for general purpose security. As for my personnel CC I car a 1911 45 with a 2lb trigger job. Its clean crisp and accurate. Hope it never comes out of the hoslter.
