Chinese knockoff of a Surefire Fury Defender. 200 instead of 500 lum
After a year and constant work with one and some with the other I wish I would have got 10 instead of 2
Surefire L4 Lumamax. 120 lumens from a single LED. Less than 3.5 ounces. Good run time and well built. It's one of a few different lights that I carried in Afghanistan. Served me well there and still does.
sparkyfender - "An Executive Defender by Surefire and a coal oil lamp".
LOL. I too have a coal oil lamp by the bed. When you live in the country and have frequent power outages, these things are never fail.
have a pelican tac light on one of my ARs, but in my nightstand i keep a 12v bosch rechargeable.
im not a huge fan of tac-lights really. they're cool and bright and all, but special batteries are its hindrance. in my BOB i keep a run of the mill 2AA LED light.
Kill Light XLR250 It is very, very bright! I use red and, believe me, people get very scared of a bright red light. $140.00 is not a bad price for a complete light package (charger, rechargeable batteries, mounts, light) for a light that goes out 200, 250 yards. On a fresh battery at night mine will light up the end marker (reflector) 1/2 mile away.
