Just curious about what kind of people I've fallen in with... You can tell something about a person by the type of music they like. (just a theory)
I love music. During my 28 years moving around with the Army I have had the opportunity to see several bands perform live at concerts. I may have forgotten a couple, butI remember seeing the following...

    Jan and Dean
    Great White
    Whitesnake
    Blue Oyster Cult
    Meat Loaf
    Twisted Sister
    Thin Lizzy
    Saxon
    Cheeta
    Motorhead
    AC/DC
    Kiss
    Steve Miller Band
    John Cougar Mellencamp
    Bachman Turner Overdrive
    Kinks
    Joan Jett
    Little River Band
    Guess Who
    Pink Floyd
    Rolling Stones
    Lee Greenwood
    Fleetwood Mac
    Corey Stevens
    Martina McBride
    The Airmen of Note
    Lone Star
    Sugarland

    Brad Paisley

Who have you been to see?

Don't nobody say "The Eagles" I've always wanted to see them, and Idon't wanna hear about it. Been wanting to see them for 30 years.

But after Oct 18th down at Indy... I'll be able to say I saw them! Thank you God!:)

ETA: Just remembered seeing (don't laugh) Marie Osmond... I was young, she was hot. Kinda still is...

Never been much of a concert goer, but I can recall being dragged to a couple. Not sure what it says about me, but starting with high school, I can remember these...

    Ted Nugent
    Rolling Stones
    Bodines
    Tom Petty
    T Model Ford
    Scott H Biram
    Left Lane Cruiser

Those are all the concerts I can remember. I'm sure I've been to others, but most music just ain't my thing.

I did end up in the green room with the Black Crowes up at Deer Creek. I was somewhat embarrassed to not know who they were at the time.

Growing up in the 70's/80's I got to see a lot of great bands for cheap. The best were always the Christmas concerts when there would be 3,4 or 5 headliner bands together with festival seating.

    AC/DC
    Black Sabbath
    Blackfoot
    Lynyrd Skynyrd (with Ronnie)
    Black Oak Arkansas
    Phil Collins
    John Cougar
    Kiss
    Marshall Tucker
    Hank Williams Jr
    Dwight Yoakam
    ZZ Top
And yes, the Eagles on their reunion tour. I moved to Oklahoma right after we bought tickets and flew back for the show.

Ok hell froze over so I saw the eagles 90 a seat and a year wait to see the show but forget that. I was a concert junkie from about 1976 till I had kids in 1999

i have most of my stubs so I can prove this:

every festival in the 1990's at deer creek
rush and Kiss since the 1970's till now
    Frank Zappa at the vogue
    johnny cash at the vogue

    phish
lalapoliza 3 shows each the first 3 years
ozzy in 1981 with randy roades
    ozzy fest many times
    rem
janes addiction and Henry Rolland band first deer creek rock show
van halen when David could jump many times
guns and roses with Metallica and many times without
the who in in Cincinnati where the people got chrushed and stopped the general admission seating

Bella fleck and the fleck tones
    jerry Garcia band

    ministry
    Ac dc
    zz top
    steely dan
Stevie Ray Vaughn and double trouble
    fleetwood mac

    kansas
    moody blues
    the flamming lips
    parliment funkDelic
    the ramones
    yes
    def lep
    Neil young and crazy horse

many other hair metal bands from the 1980 if they had I hit and toured I saw them. They pure amount of grunge bands I saw in the 1990's might have bought me a car.

I wish I would have seen bob marly and the whalers, led zep, and The Kinks.

the worst concert I seen was James brown with a close second to a drunk David lee Roth solo.

the best performance was the earl Scruggs family review with a close second to Lyle Lovett and his very large band. I find it weird that for a rock and roll guy I like bluegrass and big band concerts the best. Great showman

Only being 21 I didn't get the chance to see all my favorites before they were gone, but my father and I try to go to concerts frequently. I like all types of music, if they have talent and I can get into the music Ill listen to it. Although my favorite genre is bluesy southern rock.

    Sheryl Crow (first concert)
    Styx
    REO Speedwagon 2x
    Foghat
    Molly Hatchet
    Journey 2x
    Heart 2x
Widespread Panic (got free tickets, dad knows the bass player)
    Lynyrd Skynyrd 2x
    Bad Company
    Derek Trucks Band
    Back Door Slam
    KISS
Elton John solo (just him and his piano, amazing concert)
    B.B. King
    Jackyl

I envy those of you who saw Skynyrd with Ronnie and Johnny Cash..

I've been to most of the ones listed except country. Started when no one heard of Kiss and when Aerosmith was the back up to REO but
instead of listing them all just thought I would post the ultimate one I went to. Wouldn't have went but my mom made me take her to see
ELVIS. It was incredible and I'm not an Elvis fan but OMG.
