Sounds like Lord of the Rings.

1917 was muuuuuuucccchhh better than the Lord of the Rings movies. But then again, so was the corporate safety video I watched on the last factory tour I took when visiting one of my company manufacturing plants. So really not saying much.

1917 was one I wanted to see on the big screen in the theater but never got around to it. I picked it up on sale on Blu-ray and cranked up the sound 'till the mortar fire shook the floor. :)

Blood Father with Mel Gibson late last night. Guns, motorcycles, tattoos, drug gang, prison... Decent action flick.

Shirtless comic Bert Kreischer. He has three standup comedy specials running and I am enjoying his humor.

Blood Father was pretty good. There weren't too many cringe-worthy gun handling moments.

I finally broke down and got Disney+. For the kids of course. ;)

Just watched 'There Will Be Blood'

    That was an adventure.

I like it, but it's taxing; definitely not mainstream.

I got my wife watching Ozark, which I watched the first episode, and it's really dark and violent. I thought out loud, "Ah, it's blue tinted, meh I'm sure this shtick is to represent Chicago, and when they get to MO, they'll stop."

Now, every time I enter the room, "Why is it so blue?!"

I want my happy, non-threatening, asexual, victim of circumstance, Jason Bateman back.
