I picked one I've been wanting to try. A "Kentucky Fire Cured". I heard about it on a podcast. It's made by Drew Estate. The process on curing the leaves is different and sounds interesting. Explained in the below link.

Found this Chloe and figured I try it. I think it's a store brand from Wild Bills as I can't find much of anything online about it.

So I just opened up and lit the Kentucky fired cured cigar. First impression was it smelled like a day old, half burnt campfire log. Yeah. Not good to me.

So I punched a hole and gave it a quick draw. Hey, kinda sweet. So I lit it up and it's different. Not in a bad way either. It's pretty dang mild with mostly woodsy overtones. Good flavor and in no way harsh.

I'm only about an inch into it right now but I think it's a winner!

EDIT:. I think I got a Fire Cured SWEET. Not the standard one.

So I'm reporting back on that Fired Cured. That is a pretty dang good stick. It's different (to me at least) than what I'm used to. Maybe expanding my pallet a bit.

Just noticed that Chalet Party Shops have their own store brand cigars. Didn't buy any. They are priced about the same as my goto Romeo y Julieta 1875s.

Finishing off my 10 day vacation with my one of my favorite cigars. A Macanudo "M". Outside in the back yard with a book and a cup of coffee. 70°, light breeze...... about perfect.

Today, yes, Today, Sunday.... my recent CI order was delivered. First smoke, out of the box is going to be a big box pressed, Man O War, Ruination anniversary edition.
    It looks and smells delightful.

I will likely go once, get mad at the ridiculous prices, and go back to drinking and smoking at home.;)
I had the same feeling. I understand they have to have a mark up to stay open and I am not sure how much volume there is for something like this. So I am expecting $20 for a $10 cigar and probably $10-15 for a shot of fine scotch.

Smoking one of those Diesel perfectos shown above today.
Ordered some Torano Hogshead cigars from CI that were on sale.
    Okay but not very exciting.
