It could be the Federal stuff as I vaguely recall seeing some of those boxes around. Not worth pulling to see, as this is more idle curiosity that anything else. Never considered it to be anything special/unique, just that it differs greatly from every other 9mm round I have ever used.
I had some of those back in the 90s. They were from Germany and VERY hot rounds! I shot one through a gallon of water, two phone books, a 2x4 and a cinder block. I couldn't believe it.
i may have some of them still around.
It's just Winchester 147 grain truncated FMJ ammo.
