I have a few P22s. The reason I picked them over the mosquito were:
I wanted a very small 22 that I could put a can on. With the can it is damn near silent. Super Collabris are totally silent. Both pistols met this goal.
I wanted a pistol I could carry in one pocket (suppressor in the other) while wearing shorts. The Sig is way too big.
I wanted something that would be reliable. After running a couple thousand rounds through them, the springs are loose enough to handle bulk Federal rounds. I also shoot the 60 grain sub sonic Agullas. The P22 is flawless, as long as I clean it every thousand rounds or so.
Coupled with the Walther laser, the P22 and suppressor provide a great little platform for accurate, silent shooting.
