IndyBeerman
Was a real life Beerman.....
Ahem............20+ years.
Personally, if it were me being stopped, I would have hit my engine kill the very second I stopped......Bike in gear or not.
Would have done the same thing, besides if you slow down, you down shift, so he was only 1 click away from neutral and would have been a natural habit to slide it to neutral.
Never rode a bike before have you?
83 Honda CB 900, Hi/low 5 speed crusier/racer (had a lot of engine work done to it) was one of Honda's first shaft driven bike's. Sold it after having it 3 years and had a guy come across HWY67 right outside of Mooresville and clipped my right rear tail light off.
2 and 3 weeks before that I had guys that lived within 2 blocks of me almost die from being hit. Seen it as a omen and have not been back on one since.
Ya so I know how to ride, I know how they operate and I sure the heck know how fast they can accelerate. I also know what a unsafe start is, because I got enough unsafe start tickets when I was a teenager that I can legit-ably be qualified as an expert.
Now quit twisting my words by trying to say they he got shot for your so called description of rapid acceleration, it's still unsafe and that's what triggered the whole thing.
Those two pull away from that stop sign like your supposed to and this whole mess never happens, NEVER. Plain and simple, because that started the entire chain of events.
Now if you don't agree to that last paragraph, I honestly think your have blinders on.
