Lincoln, Nebraska, 12/21/2010. Well, here's the rundown. There is a 20 minute video here of an incident and the aftermath. A guy was practicing shooting his bow at a target in his backyard, which apparently is against ordinance. He refuses to present an ID and is tackled on his front step and arrested. It is unclear but someone received a minor injury from the wrestling match.
Everybody can have an opinion about the above matter; but regardless of of who was the most wrong in this situation...
Where it gets interesting legally, is that the police tell the man's wife to pack her kid up and leave because they are seizing her house - prior to having a warrant.
So... reserving my opinions on the matter, what say you? Is it common to seize a home because an infraction took place outside of it?
If you want to cut straight to the "seizure" part of the video, go to about 7:00 of the second video.
