I think it was just wrong for getting in front of the news media and boasting. I mean what he done was what shooter needed but the way the guy acted afterwards wasn’t right in my book. Just my opinion.
I must not have seen what you are talking about.

If you belt carry at 3:00, the left arm is free for hugging the hotties, while the right arm lays over the gun.

The advantage of 3:00 carry is the gun "sits" with you nicely in the pew or chair or vehicle. The gun also draws fast with this method of carry.

The poor gent that got shot first struggled to get to his pistol carried at 4:00 or worse.

    50 ft ............that aint far.
    Maybe for some it is.
    They need practice.

I haven't heard if the good guy hit where he aimed or not.
Used to own a range from what I read.
    Probably did. Or close enough.

Have seen a lot on indoor and outdoor ranges.
Most folks not very good with a handgun.
They accept poor performance and think it just the way handguns are.
    Not always.

I read somewhere that he said, he took the shot that he was given with people in the pews. So it sounded like he felt the head shot was his only choice.

Mr Wilson gives a lot of information in this interview the day before yesterday.

The shot he took, why he took it. His training along with his instruction to the security team and to others listening. Also give details on the shotgun the shooter used.

I didn’t see any arrogance in that interview,
he was going to have to give an interview. I am sure he was being constantly bombarded by every local and national news outlet.

    Mr Wilson has me sold.

I kept my mouth shut about my feeling that his head shot just might have been a lucky shot. Glad I did, because after listening to these interviews, I'm convinced he knew exactly what he was doing and his shot hit exactly where he put it.

Mr Wilson speaks with confidence and honesty. There is no question that he represents us well.
