I was down there for Jury Duty today, (not the OP case), for some reason the lawyers didn't want to pick a bald X-DOC officer to hear their case.

The news crews were hugging that court room door. Derrick Thomas with channel 6 was the only news crew member that I recognized.

To bad the death penalty was removed in Turners case.

I was down there for Jury Duty today, (not the OP case), for some reason the lawyers didn't want to pick a bald X-DOC officer to hear their case.

That would have been a great case to sit and watch. Too bad I couldn't get any vacation time this week.

He9perp) took a judge trail instead of a jury trail as an offer by the prosecutor for no death penalty.
I think he would have gotten a hung jury. Now he will get life in prison.

There was no DNA or other tangible physical evidence linking Turner to the crime scene. Sure there were eyewitnesses who testified they saw him going into the house, but with all the CSI shows on TV, juries want DNA and all that other magical stuff to 100% positively link the suspect to the crime.

Nov 18th ish or something like that, judge has already said he will be sentenced to life w/o parole.
