Restraining order will be fastest method. As you'll need to legally evict him.
Definitely not worth much for protection, but it expedites the eviction from down the road to NOW.An RO is good for getting the matter on the record, but when push comes to shove it is useless. Best to have a strong self defense plan ready to go at the same time the RO is requested.
My daughter attempted to file a restraining order against her ex when she thought he was stalking her. She didn't get it.I may be wrong but I don't think filing for divorce is enough to get a restraining order, unless you're talking about the type that protects assets.
