You guys realize you can ship firearms through the mail straight to people door right? Its the same as a face to face deal...
(handguns cannot be shipped USPS by a nonFFL holder)
You can ship rifles USPS. You can ship handguns UPS and FedEx
are you sure????.....i thought ANY shipped firearm( not muzzleloaders) had to go threw a FFL even in state.....you have a link to the law?
What's funny is when something is for sale, you have folks lined up and some joker gets riled up because you won't drive to middle of nowhere when I have literally 25 offers locally. Have been called everything under the sun: Con man, scammer, trailer trash, ***got, etc.. because some hilljack in the middle of nowhere didn't get his toy and because I would not drive out 100 miles to meet them when I have someone literally next door that answered earlier (not a direct indicator of who I choose).
Anybody else bummed because the goods you want on here are usually on the other end of the state? Such is life I guess, but man it sucks watching great deals on useful to me stuff wither away!
How about a service similar to Peapod? Call it INGO Peapod. Run it twice a month. INGO members make the deal, make payment and then an INGO volunteer drives a state circuit where he will meet at certain collection/delivery points to complete deals started on INGO. He would, of course, collect a small fee sufficient to cover expenses.
Ok .... maybe it's too complicated. How about a subforum in the classifieds where INGO members can post the date/time of their next trip north/south and offer to complete a deal for other INGO members? People that need help completing a deal could also post their need and wait for someone to come along and offer their services.
Hmmmm .... Ok, how about we take our stuff to a government building and pay them to take our stuff to other INGO members?
