Since 2007 a group of more than 60 scientists, publishing in leading peer-reviewed journals, have presented evidence linking the cataclysm to a disintegrating comet that crossed the orbit of the earth 12,800 years ago and bombarded our planet with a ‘swarm’ of fragments, some more than a kilometre in diameter.
  Though compelling, with new corroborative studies published every year, the comet hypothesis remains controversial and a number scientists favour other explanations. What all are agreed on, however, is that a global cataclysm did indeed occur.
  America Before reveals that the epicentre of the cataclysm lay in North America, then still in the grip of the Ice Age with much of the northern half of the continent covered in ice a mile deep. An immense flood was unleashed as large sectors of the ice cap suddenly melted. Believe it or not I have some of those fossils...I find them at the farm, usually on the underside of a a trilobite track...Same grey color stone.....

I think he is interesting until someone questions him, then he becomes an irritating little ****. I had more respect for him before the episode he was on with Shermer. It was just a pissing match where Hancock spent most of his time trying to whine over Shumer for three hours. Any time Hancock was questioned, he denied any responsibility for anything he had written in his book saying he was only quoting someone else and that words he wrote in the book weren't his. I found that to be quite the cop-out and he lost a lot of personal credibility with me.

I will definitely give it a listen, though. Having thin skin and the same reactions to being questioned that a nine year old girl would doesn't mean his writings don't have merit.

I didn't know who he was until I listened to his podcasts with Randal Carlson because of this thread. I don't see a lot of television and have never seen Fear Factor or watched a UFC fight. He is now my favorite podcast host and I listen to him at work pretty much every night.

Shermer could have prepared better for sure, but I thought he was pretty reasonable. I got a lot of messages about that podcast on my Instagram page (yeah, I'm on there too) where most people thought he was a complete tool and a shill for main stream scientists who was just out to destroy Hancock. I just didn't see that at all.

Another very good one.....Schoch believes the Younger Dryas event ended due to massive solar plasma/geo magnetic storms and that agent people recorded these events down....He believes that it could've been caused by the comet break up i.e. some of it hit the sun...Either way it was a rough thousand years for earth and things living here....
