depends on the language for me I prefer some languages over others. the includes in C++ are annoying but I like the rest of the rest of the language. VB is ok. I used to know 8 or 9 languages really well during college. I just didn't enjoy it.

VB is a beginners language and for lazy people. It'll get you 85% of the way to what you really want.

But, all programming languages are pretty much the same. I'm a C guy myself. And with web development its C# with Javascript
