I need to go put the bread in the oven. Hubby is out somewhere "hunting coyotes" but I doubt he will see them this time of the day.

I had a really nice buck in the yard this morning that I talked to for a while. He was perfectly happy watching and listening until some hot little doe ran by him.

One of the neighbors shot a doe yesterday. Hubby had to help him drag it out of the woods. It was barely on our side and it was definitely well on his side when he shot her based on the blood trail. I had a young one wandering around the back yard earlier so it made me wonder if that was its mom.

I saw about 4 of them splattered along side 25 last week. all were within about a 200 yard area

I saw dead yotes. I have never seen them dead on the road.

I see yotes and fox on the roads fairly regularly. We have way too many of them over here. I know one guy that said he had someone trapping them on his farm last year and they had over 100. I'm not sure how many acres he has, but it is pretty big...but still, that is a lot of coyotes in one area.
