Dang... I've been eyeing a 5.45x39 uppper. That ammo is crazy cheap.

I just wish there were more options for one.

I've thought about it too. Only downside is that its mostly all corrosive ammo. Not exactly something I'd want for SHTF or anytime you may not be able to clean it right away.


I think I"ll just pick up an AK in 7.62 to compliment my AR.

Could you use a .22lr in carbine class?

If you can just buy a M&P 15-22, $450 and ammo is real cheap

Work sucks. I was supposed to work 10-3 for training but the training module got screwed up so I had to clock out and now I go back at 3 to 9. I wasn't even supposed to work today just train on the computer.

I'd still have a lower. I'm thinking its going to become a 5.45

My other options is to buy a stripped upper and get the Adams Arms Russian Conversion kit that comes with a Mag, Barrel, and Bolt

It's a cheap NC Star, I like it a lot, took a while to get used to it, perfect for a little 22 plinker, wanted an Aimpoint, EOTech or an ACOG but those things cost more then my rifle
