I've got an AK that has a nice coat of Mt Dew on it from over the weekend...and its the retro Mt Dew with real sugar..Im almost afraid to take it out of the case...I bet its sticky. Im just going to shoot it until the dew melts off.

That's your best bet.
That way you can't be accused of cleaning an AK.

I had to melt Ballistics gel, and strain mold out of it. That HAS to be worse than cleaning an AK...

I think Im going to start putting together my "mutt" this weekend..I have pretty much aquired all of the parts to build the cheapest shotgun ever! I will have a total of $150 in it when Im done..but itll still be badass!
it'll be built out of winchester second hand parts..bought a receiver and mag tube for $25..had a barrel already..it was a 32" barrel covered in rust left over from a previous build..I chopped it down to 18.50",then put it on the lathe to square it all up..sanded it down and coated it with high temp primer and spray on bed liner gonna coat the reciever in the bed liner as well.
gonna order the stock for it this weekend then get the mag extention the week after.

Sounds interesting. Will the bedliner spray give it a textured finish?

Yes and yes. not sure how textured itll be..guess it depends on how thick I put it on.
