Staff meeting at the Columbia Club Thursday night. They had Indiana City beer. Tried the new Son of War Blonde Ale. Amazing.
Smooth (12 IBU) and moderate ABV. Looking forwarding to trying this in hot weather.

Oh, Belgian Blonde!
I was thinking you were describing an American Blonde Ale, which no one ever has labelled "Amazing". The ones I judge highly all get descriptors like "Bland" or "Inoffensive" or "No discernible character".
Try it. I think you'll like it.
Belgians are my bag, my friend.
I love judging Belgian Blonde Ales, I hate judging American Blonde Ales.

The sidecar and their tropical torpedo are both excellent! I don’t think I’ve ever had a Sierra Nevada beer I didn’t like.Found a good one if you are into IPAs. Sierra Nevada Sidecar Orange IPA.
Not too hoppy, and the orange rounds out the flavor.
