Story has been updated. It was because of a teacher who has a hearing problem that causes her to be sensitive to loud noises, and it is only at assemblies. Cheering/clapping is aloud elsewhere.

You put hearing protection on your kids when you go to the range? That is what the article you linked is talking about. Well not ranges specifically but other places with loud noises.

    See above.

Then maybe at assemblies, the teacher that has the problem needs to wear hearing protection.

You've never been respected? How about the lack of respect for the father?
    Nice reply after though.

She clearly never thought that biting the hand that fed her had consequences. The fact that she spoke to her father in such a way leads me to believe that wasn't the first time she treated him like that.

He served his country, worked hard to provide for himself and his family, and that is how he is treated in return.

How about in the North Korean Army? No need to hamstring ours any more than necessary...

I think it was my 20th or 21st boss that said, "I heard you used to be on a submarine. I was in the Navy too".
    So I asked, "Which one?"
He smiled and said. "The US navy, of course".
My reply, "Oh, I just wanted to make sure. As much damage as you cause, I thought maybe the Russians sent you over to sabotage us."

He didn't think it was nearly as funny as I did.
