When I was in 7th grade my history teacher started out at the beginning of the year with saying this " Throughout history empires rise and then fall. The Empire of the United States is no different."

It has stuck with me ever since, but at the time I didn't pay much attention, I was too busy worrying about the best looking girl in the classroom. But now It makes sense to me. After many history classes I've learn that empires always seem to fall. America hasn't always been on top.

Now I believe her. I know the time is coming, maybe not now, but hell it sure does look like it. As much as we all want don't want it to be another civil war, sadly I don't think it is going to go down peacefully. As Thomas J said "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

I don't know where we are going or how we are getting there but I believe its going to be a bumpy ride. :patriot:

I totally agree with your position. The demise of morality, the self indulgent politicians, the socialistic education system all combine to create the perfect storm.

I said it when Bobo first got appointed that if he were appointed again, this country had about 8-10 years left.

the progressives are and have been targeting our 8-10 year old children for years. just think about why, now think about how long until a 10 is old enough to vote...

we are pushing progressive ideas on our kids in school like theres no tomorrow. when Bobo the Clown was first running, my kids had homework assignments on him for 23 days straight. they had 8 on McCain.

i went to their school to find out why such a disparity....black teacher. and, judging by some of the notes she had sent home with my kids dealing with assignments, dumb as a box of rocks.

in her classroom was a small library, of the 30 slots in the library shelf system, there were something like 18 books about different blacks in history, 7 or 8 about hispanics and 2 or 3 dealing with a white person.

when i questioned her on this, she had no real response. i got the feeling she knew her ass was grass if she replied.

i spoke with several other parents of children in the class and they were all pissed but were in fear of being labled so remained silent. needless to say, i complained to the principal and things changed there quickly.

i pulled my kids out of that school at the end of the year and enrolled them in a magnet school.

when my oldest was in high school, she had a teacher that was so pro-Bobo it was disgusting. the guy was assigning them material on him, had stickers and posters all over his classroom and talked about him constantly in class. it was amazing how this guy got away with it.

when my kids would bring this trash home, i would go through their homework and then have them research the subject outside of their supplied study material. the high school teacher didnt like my oldests paper on the Civil War and graded her poorly, she had a 3.9 GPA at the time in an AP high school. i told her to bring her material to school along with my handwritten note to the teacher, amazingly, grade changed and didnt have a problem with him after that.

now we are seeing the same thing with the LGBT crap appearing in our kids schools.

we dont have much longer until this country splinters, caves in or is overrun from the outside.

America is not an empire though. We control the seas to allow free trade, and protect our allies voluntarily. We do not have colonies. I'm so sick of being called an empire. We are a Super Power, not an empire.

Under the Atlantic Charter, we basically got Britain to agree to release their empire, and let them all choose their own destiny, and the world has existed that way since. We are the ones who fought to break our connection with the British empire in the American Revolution, and then we basically freed the other colonies as well. Freedom is in our genes.

    Rep for you!

All that remains is for them to get Common Core installed and they will own our (the collective's) kids. This is an insidious cancer that will ultimately consume the nation!

History doesn't repeat its self, it rhymes.

And sadly I think true Freedom as a gene is not a dominate one. Your freedom and my freedom I would assume are similar. But a person who brainwashed and indoctrinated has a different idea of freedom. They need the government to tell them that they are free.

Me and you, we know we are free and we don't need the government to tell us.
