Really...... What will it take? How does that reset?
Historically once a country reaches the tipping point where not enough people work to support those who will not it eventually goes over a fiscal cliff and can no longer afford to defend itself against outside aggression. That is why Rome was sacked numerous times towards the end. Judging how close we are to that point it difficult as obviously there are not great amounts of data to go by. We seem to be in a very bad place but it might linger on in a slow downward spiral for decades. Look at Detroit.
There will be plenty of vultures circling the carcass. The US still has abundant natural resources and someone will try to exploit them at some point.
For me the disappointing thing about yesterday was that it finally beat into my thick head that the majority of voters like Obama, his policies, and the results of that leadership.
