I learned something kind of interesting a few weekends ago.....

    TRIBAL POLICE

They have ultimate jurisdiction on Indian Grounds which also encompasses ALL state and federal highways that go thru their land. They have the right to ask for help from
state or federal law enforcement on Indian grounds (their casinos), BUT it is their choice
    if they want help.

    I'll czech with management.

So, has the ruling come down on Dan Wesson's? Are they CZ? The pic below I posted some time ago to show the older Bruin's had more complex milling on the slide. This is one with the funny-angled front of slide and barrel bushing. It has more slide serration groves than current models and more intricate milling on the top of slide.

Whether or not DW's are CZ, I'm still covered with this photo, because the empty casing in the pic was shot with a CZ 527 bolt action. 17 Hornet: 20 grains at 3650 fps. I've taken small varmint at 245 yards with it.

I didn't notice till later the effect my glasses added to the One shell casing in the pic.

Hope you all have a blessed Christmas and everyone stay safe ... and warm!

    Afternoon all!
I've been thinking about trading out my P10S with the Holosun for a P365 with the WC grip and a red dot. I love the P10S, but I like how the P365 is thinner. Thoughts?

Do you carry IWB or OWB? Thin really only matters if you're going to carry IWB, at least to me. That said, I really enjoy carrying my Shield Plus, even though I carry OWB. If it weren't for the too small trigger guard, I would plan to carry it year round, but I'm thinking I need to start carrying something with a larger trigger guard when I start wearing gloves (like my P10C OR).

Also, if you like the P365 with the WC grip, check out the X Macro.

A lot of people don't realize but Fort Wayne, Indiana was in the top 5 places for Hitler to bomb in America.

1.) General Electric was entirely located here. I think at one time they owned over 200 ACRES!!! inside the
city of Fort Wayne. Most of the electric motors, which were on all our warships, tanks, and other
installations.....you guessed it MADE IN FORT WAYNE! ! ! !
2.) General Electric again made our radios that were in all our equipment in WW2.
3.) International Harvester........FORT WAYNE, INDIANA.....tanks, 2.5 Deuces, and the beloved JEEP!!!:patriot: need transmissions.....you guessed it MADE IN FORT WAYNE! ! ! ! ! (not so much JEEP, but I'm sure they
had to make something for JEEP in Fort Wayne.....LOL)
4.) Now this one, you don't want to be famous for, but we stored a lot of the plutonium rods that were used
to manufacture the 2 atom bombs that ended World War 2.

    CZ!!!!
All of this is absolutely true! And I’ll add that a handful of years ago while digging into one family member I happened across an article somewhere that talked about that exact thing related to the Manhattan Project. I believe the materials were stored at a steel plant, which isn’t far from where I call home. If it is the buildings I think they were, they still stand.

At the time the, what would later become the IH Scout plant, was owned by Studebaker. Which was a major producer for aircraft engines right here in the Fort. Many people also do not realize that Fort Wayne was home to hundreds of Nazi war prisoners during the war…

The only famous person in my family, we don't know his real name. He was a basque in king louis's court and fled during the revolution. Only the family who smuggled him to Mexico knew it. He ended up marrying the only daughter, and took her family name. I have been trying to find info on this and our people, 1/2 blood ( the caxcan) for about 2 years. Unfortunately he did a great job concealing his history. And on the other side, the church hung my great grandparents in front of my grandmother as a child for being native. They killed off our people unless they got baptized. Now not even historians have a solid grasp on our culture. I have so many questions and no clue how to find things historians can't figure out...

Long story short, I have been reinvigorated in my search. Thank you
If you want any help, holler! Lots of resources around. I can trace a lot of my mother’s family back to France around that time.

I have no experience with the P10S but do like my P365 with WC grip module. I do not have an optic as I will occasionally carry with the 10 round mag in a pocket holster but mostly carry IWB/AWB with the 12 round mag. Happy to meet sometime and let you shoot it.

My Dad, about 13 or 14 during the War, and the son of sharecroppers in S. Alabama, told me stories of War prisoners working the fields during the War. I imagine large property owners had a special relationship with someone in power, and benefitted from the free labor. He thought the ones he saw were Italians. I wonder what became of them after the war?

That is a good question! I would find it hard to believe that they all ended up going back overseas after seeing what opportunities were over here. The prisoners here numbered around 600 from the Afrika Korps.
