I just ordered a surefire m640DFT, and I'm going to be paring it with a goon beam 850IR illuminator.
The goon beam uses streamlight tail caps, but there is an aftermarket tail cap that will allow it to run the same female end as a surefire body does.
My question: Does anyone know a double lead pressure switch that would allow me to run the two lights off a single pad like you would with a lase rand a light?
If not, I guess I can just run a pair of modbuttons. That will save space, just won't be very cost effective. With the two lights and mounting hardware, I'm already in for $500 almost, so another 150 for a couple mod buttons won't be the end of the world.
Any input or suggestions are welcome. This is just a temporary IR solution until I can shell out the money for an NGAL to replace the goonbeam.
(And yes I am aware I could have gotten the surefire vampire and avoided all this, but the vampire's white light is lacking to say the least)
