I ran out of room to put more yard debris on, it was 12ft high and I could no longer throw branches on the top.
So a couple week ago after a light morning drizzle I lit 'er up

I used to have similar or maybe a lil bigger brush piles and eventually dug a 25ft across and 5ft deep pit for brush. Made it so much easier to control the grass catching and less wind to stir ashes

Was in Newaygo County up north this weekend. The whole place is ready to burn. I have some piles to burn but my hunting land would have been smoldering ashes in minutes.

Hoping for rain here soon. Forecast says 35% chance tomorrow.

Lotta fall crops are just barely hanging on with hose watering every other day or so.

Last rain here was just 0.2” and it was 12 days ago. Creek behind the house has dried up. Probability of rain doesn’t exceed 20% for another 5 days.

Heard an explanation as to why Marion County hasn't been included yet. It's because it has more "urban" area where people don't burn stuff.

Daughter showed me a pick of a burnt bush at pizzahut here in knox. Apparently, some moron thought it would be a good idea to throw a cigarette in the mulch bed at a shrub bush next to the building. I think their pizza sucks, but i don't wanna burn it down..
