Springfield XD 40 Sub-Compact Good Deal???

I have a guy I work with wanting to sell me his Springfield XD 40 for $350. He bought it brand new about a month ago and never fired a round through it. I inspected it last night and the gun is flawless! I don't know much about XD's so is $350 a good deal? He told me it's about $100 less than what he bought it for.

What do you want to use it for? EDC? If so, be sure it's comfortable enough for you with the double-stack. As far as the deal... it's a good one IMO.
