@dthm you could call Springfield armory and ask, maybe they would
I would sure hope so. It saves them on taxes to sell the uppers and lowers separately.

I have one. I sighted it in this week. IMO the only cheap part on the gun is the rear sight. It is a rebranded UTG MNT-955. I replaced it with a Troy. Considering I only paid $799 for the gun I'm okay with having to replace the sight though. IMO this is an incredible value for a mid-length gas carbine with all these features.
What features? I'll admit I like the furniture..I'm sure it's a good solid rifle but honestly I think Springfield is a little late to the game...their is nothing that AR can or will do that any other can or will do. The mentioning of BCM parts being used...well the furniture I believe is about it.
Can someone point to a source stating anything else is BCM...also the barrels steel isn't mentioned..is it 4140 or 4150?
The trigger group sounds nice....1:8 twist...well I'm still testing different loads in my 1:7 at to see what shoots great and what doesn't..
That's a shame about the rear site also being cheapish and possibly rebranded.

So from the people who have the gun do you think it's a good quality rifle for the price? And good quality minus the rear sight problem,
