You’ve got a lot of haters in MIM parts. I laugh at some complaints about when S&W went to a MIM trigger and hammer. Like cut some of those older hammers down when bobbing them and see how brittle that metal found underneath the hardening could be.MIM???
Well, they make pistons for Indy cars and F1 out of MIM.... so I guess it's suspect in a pistol? Remington shotguns are MIM. When can we stop with the MIM "sky is falling"?
I have one and have been really impressed with it. It outperforms a few others that cost me quite a bit more. I’d definitely recommend one.Hey All,
Anybody here have a Springfield 1911 Garrison in 45acp.
Just wondered what your thoughts were on it.
Thinking about getting one. Reviews are ok on the web but thought I
would ask here.
Thanks~
So MIM is made in Minnesota? Even Worse!See, MIM isn't "made in mexico". Engine blocks, axles, airplane turbin blades...but not my by gawd 45!
Which ammo?Does it have similar features as the RONIN? This is the first group I shot out of mine. Winchester white box, pretty impressed with it.View attachment 267234
No, no. That would be 3M.So MIM is made in Minnesota? Even Worse!
Have you had any return trips yet?
Actually I have been running MIM internals now for thousands of rounds and this 4th gen MIM is working out good. I compare it to particle board/ plywood product. Different but does the job.MIM???
