Spring time, google earth is your friend. Start looking for farm ponds, head out and ask farmers for permission. Hit up the local bait shops, they may tell you some places. Look for access to creeks at bridges where you can pull off the road and park. These are a lot of times created by fishermen, this time of year you’ll need waders. Good Luck.Looking for a few spots I’ve never really fished in Indiana mainly Kentucky with my grandpa so far I’ve only been to Deam Lake and Clarksville State Park. Located in Borden, IN so anyone nearby who knows a good spot lmk (I like fishing for catfish, blue gill, and carp)
Thanks man most of my family is in Kentucky so I enjoy going up to prison lake in crestwood and pay lakes in Louisville but just to far tbh gonna explore soon I guess.Spring time, google earth is your friend. I never lie about my spots. I just don't tell the truth about my fishing spots.Welcome.
As water temp rises the big bull Gills will be making beds on the sunny banks with gravel bottoms preferred. Pencil bobbers and 4 lb. Mono. 1 single small split shot a foot above your “wild caught” minnows or wax worms/bee moths. Enjoy it, you only go around once. And never…never tell anyone where you find your honey hole. Lie, it‘s what fishermen are famous for.
