Sonic Robbed Same Day Gun Ban Announced

The suspects must not have realized that Sonic "banned" guns from their establishment.

The article also touches on a few of the same things that have happened to Jack in the Box after they announced they preferred people not carry in their restaurants. I'm sure this type of stuff happens frequently to fast food places, but it still sheds the light that these ********* don't care, especially if there is a better chance of people not being able to properly defend themselves.

This thread is full of fail. It's what you get for reading Breitbart: decreased IQ.

First, the suspects did not show any evidence of having any kind of weapon Robbery reported at Sonic drive-in in central Topeka | CJOnline.com.
Second, there is no evidence that the suspects even knew of the Sonic gun policy. Establishments like that get robbed often.
Third, there is absolutely no evidence that armed civilian customers would have been in the establishment that particular day and prevented the robbery, if Sonic did not have their gun policy.
Fourth, there is absolutely no evidence that an armed civilian customer would have prevented the robbery. Armed civilian customers DO NOT MAKE any establishment safer; that's the biggest BS too many gun owners spout, as if being armed all of a sudden make them police or security guards. It may make the armed customers themselves safer personally if those individuals' lives are endangered, but that does not necessarily rub off on the other non-armed customers and employees. Others will still be at risk of being shot/caught in crossfire, or simply the decision of the armed individual that he's using his gun to just get out of there.

But there is clear evidence that "No Guns Allowed" signs don't deter crime. :):
