My luck, by the time they get to me decent HP will be too expensive... I'll end up taking some jacketed RN Fiocchi or PMC crap, and just lay there hollering for gauze and duct tape...and maybe a Snickers with a Mt.Dew chaser.

The 450K of pistol ammo and 750K of carbine, rifle and shotgun is for all the various LE agences in DHS and the USCG.

You are partly correct. The DHS is the agency which has purchased 1.4 billion rounds of .40 caliber hollow point (which is not a military round and against the geneva convention). Then the national weather service ordered over a hundred thousand, and now the SSA orderes over a hundred thousand.

The United States Coast Guard is in DHS. The USCG, a branch of the United States military, uses .40 caliber pistols.

1.4 billion rounds represents many other calibers and loads than .40 S&W.

Why are you not training with your carry ammo? If you could, you would, right. If someone else was paying for your ammo.
