I'd definitely be interested in knowing the scope mount you used and how well it holds zero when you get a chance to shoot it. Also, that looks like a 30 rd mag...any problems with it? Beautiful job BTW!
I coated everything with OD Green Duracoat. Went back with my airbrush and used matte black and snow grey to make the "shadow" camo on the stock and scope. The mount is........I can't remember. I found it in a pile of spare parts. I believe it might be an NCStar mount. As far as holding zero I won't know as it went to the auction block on Gun Broker. I bought the rifle from my nephew with the intent of flipping it. I already have (2) other SKS's and don't really need a third. I wouldn't think it would be anything precise. I personally believe that all of that stuff is cosmetic. A scope mounted on a receiver cover that isn't frimly mounted can't be that accurate. I had a scope on my other SKS and used it mainly as a spotting scope. I shot better with it using the iron sights. Looks cool though....
