I love mine but I put and e2 grip on it and put and Short reset trigger in it to make it exactly what I wanted. Mine is actually a mk25, I think that's the same as a navy. I got it in a trade deal and will likely never let it go. If I were to buy new I'd pay the extra for a legion (yea I'm that guy) or get the extreme because I like the g-10. Basically you can't go wrong.
I don't know what one costs but I would consider looking at a Legion if I were to go with some special Sig. I'm not looking at prices here, but it's what I'd rather have. Otherwise I'd just buy a 226 or 229 with an SRT.
You do know the seals are switching to the Glock 19? I'm awaiting their "seal" edition. I did have a Navy at one time, trigger is horrible unless you install the SRT (short reset trigger) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwcnaQWE9uM
Have bought and own several Sigs. I am personally not a fan of the E2 grips or the short reach trigger. My preference is a good set of G10s with the original trigger and short reset installed.
dont quote me but i thought the difference between the navy and the k25 is phosphate coated internals. so unless you're in sea water all day thats the only difference

I love mine. Has the SRT trigger in it now. But even without it, its still a great pistol. I qualified surprisingly well with it in December. Id buy another if I could get one at a decent price.
Every time I get past wanting a mk25 one of these threads pops up. Lol never fails! P226 is a superb full sized pistol that could probably do it all if needed.
