SHTF for Apartment Dwellers?

In a relativley small thread 2 of us have quoted these as invaluable to have.

I often give these as Xmas gifts. The detail goes down to even showing long lanes on farms. If you can read landmarks, use a compass and know anything about land navigation these things get it done.

I am on your Xmas list right?

I hear ya, but I just don't think the Canadians, Cubans or Mexicans can get to Indy that quick. Having lived in North Dakota and Texas I can honestly say there are some tough people on our 6 and 12!

That being said, all conflicts have their casualties.

Handgun, water, carbs, compass, binoculars, maps and good boots can get you pretty far.

I-69 is going to be an international corridor/highway with access to both Canada and Mexico, and is in fact going to be built about 5-10 miles from my current location.

I'm a bit deaf at times.

Most Canadians are a proud but gentle people.

Lived with them for six weeks, most of them seemed nicer than most people here I've met. They just suck at border security.

Our Southern border is what really concerns me....

and those who live within our borders (you know, the infamous BAT-F-Troop, our governments National and State, etc....).

Ideally, I want an M2 tripod-spot-welded to the back of a diesel pickup truck.
