    But we can use them next month. :p

    Yes, 30'06 for both the Garand as well as the 1903A3 that I will have out there. It is usually sold for 20 in the box, although you have to load them 8 in the enbloc clips.

    See you Saturday and we will see how the steel works. I have not seen any negative comments on steel not working.

    Should I order a spare barrel? :D Looks like we might need it .:laugh:

    @repeater
    What size plywood can we donate?
    The range can only take full sheet 4'x8' plywood in ANY thickness due to how it is nailed to the wooden post they have.

    Get the cheapest 4'x8' plywood you can find. Last time the waffer boards were the cheapest.

    Does anyone know what the flooding/water situation is like out there, at the range? I don't know if you all have been getting rain, but man...NW Illinois is flooded to the neck.

    Good question and I'm not sure. Most likely real wet but doubt any flooding. The majority of that I think occured with you guys. Send a few PMs to members who live near the range to get more details.

    Shoot brass and then steel. Steel is dirtier cause it doesn't seal as well as brass. Shoot the brass after the steel and it could expand onto the grim and FTE, and even get stuck in the chamber. Not that 20 rounds would do that though, just an fyi.

    I will bring 16 burger buns. My :twocents: unused breads get taken home or fed to the animals. Frozen & thawed bread is :puke:.

    :whistle:
    i feed them 1/2 frozen hot dog buns and 1/2 fresh the last meet & shoot and no one said anything. =)
    granted they were only frozen for under 30 days. where as these are since now.
    btw the dog buns are under day frozen as well. :whistle: but they appear to be softer as they are thawing then the burger ones.
