I'm teaching but probably not at the meet and shoot... Taught two more new gun owners how to assemble thier AR parts kits weds night and meeting up with two more new shooters today at the range...

I'm a prune when it comes to the Remy 700 PSS... T_Star... but I got some Federal Gold Match you can put down her if you want... Lets see how you do on the 200 and I'm working on getting invited back out to the 1000 yard range in a couple weeks to really use that rifle at a more appropriate range for her... wanna go ?

On the 308 front though, I can bring the FAL out for you too put some of that mil surp through...

Okay I have it nailed down now. I will be bringing the following guns:
Smith & Wesson MP15 .300 whisper
Remington 770 7mm
Sig Sauer P238 .380
Ruger 10/22

Just purchased the big toys today and ready to play :-)

Just got confirmation, we have a fencing tournament this Saturday in Wisconsin. I hope to be home LATE on Saturday night, after the tournament, but ...

Looks more like I will NOT be at this shoot. If I do it will be a surprise to me too!

Yes, I saw that you incorrectly put me there, but I didn't want to correct you and make you feel inadequate for making the mistake.

As I said, I probably won't be there. I still MAY show up, but it will be a stretch to get me there after driving home from Wisconsin.

Are you two going to be doing some teaching at this shoot? Heck, after you guys had to haul all that stuff around for an entire day I figured you'd do it for sure at a meet and shoot.

Not sure a M&S at Winimac is the place. They don't want us up forward anymore.
Anyone wants to learn from me, I'm more than happy to show.
Lesson 1: don't leave shooting glasses at home.
On the shoot rifle from behind cover... my eyes were over the top of the glasses while
looking thru peepsite. Bring face above peepsite, red target in site. Bring face down,
try to find red blur.
Lesson 2: think about a pistol caliber carbine (like Gunbunnies). Not sure I liked the looks
Of his, but 9mm is plenty good enough to 100yds. (I think it was 100?)

Actually, I was going to write up on the AAR. But I've only had 1 day off since the shoot. And a few other things going on.

And Lonehoosier and I spent A LOT of the day checking the safety. I haven't used one in 20 years. Didn't want to forget it, and have you thinking I was disrespecting. So I kept checking to make sure I didn't forget. Noticed Lone doing the same.

PS .223s aren't that loud.

I will be attending on the 18 for part of the day. At some point I will need to drive about 45 minutes west to pickup my free range, heritage breed turkey. Gobble Gobble.

Glock 19 with ammo
Ruger LC9 with ammo
10/22 takedown with ammo
2 boxes of 300 BLK – one sub and one super sonic (Sacrifice_me, Thanks for sharing your toys!)

And possibly 4 blocks of ballistic gelatin to compare 300 sub, 300 sup, 223, and 7.62x39
