What Olympic sports would you like to see in the future?


My choices:

• Ski-boxing. Competitors must ski cross-country, stopping periodically to box their opponents. Competitors are not permitted to remove skis or boxing gloves during the competition.
• Red Rover. "Red rover, red rover, let Jamaica come over!"
• Javelin catching. Points awarded for style, distance, and most blood still remaining in the body.

Could have sub events, like Speedball, Capture the Flag, Tactical-Realism.

How about.................

baseball and softball! They are both no longer Olympic Sports although the world-wide-popular trampoline, synchronized diving, beach volleyball, and rhythmic gymnastics are!

Not necessarily a new sport, but I would like to see three new events added to swimming: a)add crocodiles in the pool; b) add sharks to the pool; c) add piranhas to the pool.

To the track, I would add raging bulls.

To the uneven bars, I would add monkeys.

As for combined sports, I liked Conan O'Brien's combination speed skating and luge, called........ Spooge.

I would love to see MMA in the olympics...Although Brazil would own everyone.

Exactly. Hell some of those open class guns don't even look like guns. That should please some of the ultra-liberal european PC cry babies. It has more to do with the classic idea of the Olympics (things that make for a good warrior) than diving and trampoline.

I would also add maybe an NRA high power style long range shooting competition too.

In antiquity normally only young men could participate.[12] The sportsmen usually competed nude. This was due in part to the weather and also because the festival was meant to be a celebration of the achievements of the human body.

I'd be ok with bringing that tradition back. I'd be willing to compromise and allow women to compete, too.

Well there is no question they'd have the Heavyweight gold medal on lockdown, but other than that I think I can't think of any other medals they'd get.

I also think that auto-racing should be in the Olympics. No Restrictor Plate racing either. Road course or oval, dirt or paved.

I put a hole in the bottom of our pool liner when I was a kid. My dad was unhappy. Of course, the only Jarts on the market now are the pussified ones.
