FAQ:
What is this all about?
DNR Winamac (DNR-W) approached us in 2012 about helping them do a youth day at Winamac where the range would be closed to the general public and we (INGO) would introduce new youth shooters to the sport using rifles, shotguns and bow & arrows.

What should I bring (Firearm Related)?
The list below shows what we are in need of
- rifles (all calibers)
- ammo (mainly .22lr, .223, 7.62x39 and 20g shells)
- clay pigeons
- clay throwers
- rifle rest for the younger shooters
- paper targets- hearing protection
- eye glasses
DNR-W will provide the 20g shotguns for this event.
They will also handle the bow and arrow portion of the clinics.
What should I bring (Non Firearm Related)?
The list below shows what we are in need of
- Hot dogs & buns
- Burgers & buns
- Chips
- Deserts
- Drinks (Water, Kool-Aid, Soda, etc)
- Plates
- Cups
- Napkins
- Grills
- Pop Up Canopy
- Staple Gun and Staplers
- Bug spray! Bug spray!
How can I help?
We need instructors and a few cooks as well. In addition if you know of local gun clubs, shops or gun organization that would like to donate (personal, equipment, ammo) that would be great. DNR-W would also like to have tables of the NRA, 4-H, etc at the event to help promote the sport even more.
What about safety after all this is a public range? I have heard bad stuff about public ranges.
While the range is typically open to everyone for this special event the range will be closed to the public. Children will have to be accompanied by their parent/guardian/family member and DNR-W will require them to fill out the waiver forms.
