    Hey y'all,

Trying to look for a safariland duty holster that will run a G17 with surefire x300 ultra. What model would you guys and gals suggest? I'm thinking 6280, but can't figure out what it works with.

I've had a 6280 for years for my Glock 21 with a tlr-1. Great holster. The x300 should work as well. If you can afford it, get an ALS version for the extra retention.

This is what I have been use for a few years now and love it. I did switch out the 1.50 drop belt loop and went to the 567UBL to keep the holster higher on the belt. Safariland 6390 Tac Light ALS Level I Duty

Alright sounds good, I've had an ALS for personal use and really liked that. I'm on Galls now and they only go by "weapon model number" for the light attachment drop down. so say on the 6390 mid ride: 146, 2192...etc. Have any clue what the X300 Ultra would be under? I'm gonna try and contact them and get the info as well.

So you went with SLS Hood with the ALS. Let us know how you like it. I used that one in class by the second hour I just left the hood down and used the ALS.
The SLS is better suited for uniform duty use. The ALS is great for your daily OC where you want some retention. I love my Raven for my G22 with TLR1 but only for CC. For OC, I feel better with a holster with retention. For uniform, the more retention the better.

I get why you would use the SLS for a duty holster. I thought the OP was looking for a daily OC holster. The great thing about Safariland they have something for everyone.

That's for the personal insight everyone. I am looking for a uniform duty holster to clarify. Looks like it is the SLS.

I have a 6360 drop leg I use during call outs and search warrants. I bought it specifically for the added retention. If it was brown basket weave I'd be wearing it everyday on duty.
