Update:
Received the M&P back from customer service today. The front sight was repaired or replaced, no information regarding repair action taken, and it is off center. I'm currently listening to 20 second loop of big band jazz waiting for a customer care representative to pick up. 24 minutes and waiting. Ruger is looking really good to me right now.
